it is no longer necessary to shoot on 35mm Film, nor Super 16mm Film to achieve the so called "industry standard Film Look." Companies like PS-Technik, Red Rock Micro, and the award winning Kinomatik (with its Movie Tube), introduced various 35mm adaptors to, in different ways, to reproduce the "Film Look". Already shows like Emmy winning 24, are embracing this new products.
We have tested and used many
different adaptors over the years and find for motion picture and music video work the new 35mm lens Adaptor by Kinomatik "The Movie Tube"; has superior image quality over all other 35mm adaptors and the ability to render great images even at high shutter speeds. When combined with a High Definition Camera like the Panasonic DVC PRO HD HVX-200, and a set of super speed prime lenses, it is now possible to capture slow motion high quality images with a "film look" that rivals even high budgeted 35mm music video and film projects.
Furthermore, in order to insure your images quality is preserved, we offer true 10bit uncompressed online Editing with HD uncompressed Color Grading, compositing and EFX available.

Media provided music video production services for Slip n Slide and Atlantic
Records. We were responsible for all principal photography and post production for Plies Narrative music video "Runnin My Momma Crazy".
The Music Video Shot on location in Florida, was directed by Antwan Smith, produced by Pierre Remy with Cinematography and production services provided by AMP Film Studios. We used Panavision Lenses on our 35 mm lens adaptor and shot in HD using our HVX200. Shot in one 12 hour day with a 7 day turn around on post. All color grading was completed using Silcon Color Final Touch. See the Video below.
